Operator

AIVELON, Bogotá D.C., Colombia, owns and operates nib and determines the purposes for which information is processed for this service.

Technical requests and security

When a page or search result is requested, the hosting and application infrastructure can process the IP address, time, requested URL, referrer, browser or device information, and technical logs needed to deliver the response, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect the service.

Language and interface preferences

nib uses a first-party cookie to remember the selected language. The interface also writes a sidebar-state cookie, while local storage is used for the selected theme and to remember whether you dismissed the location prompt. nib does not use these preference values to build an advertising profile. Restricted administrator sign-in uses essential authentication cookies.

Location search

When search opens, nib checks the browser’s geolocation permission. If access has already been granted, nib requests your current position automatically; otherwise, it requests the position only after you confirm nib’s prompt, and the browser may then ask for permission. If a position is returned, the coordinates center the map and are included in nearby-result requests. You can deny or revoke access and browse Colombia manually. nib uses one-time position requests and does not track location in the background. Pages with maps load map styles and tiles directly from CARTO, which receives standard request data and the requested map area under its own privacy terms.

Searches and outbound listing clicks

Search terms, filters, and map coordinates are processed to find relevant results; selected listing identifiers are processed to show listing details. When you open an original listing, nib sends the offer identifier, rent or sale category, and destination URL to its click endpoint to measure outbound traffic and investigate abuse. The endpoint also receives the current nib page as the referrer and the browser user-agent.

Original sources and external sites

Opening an original listing takes you to an independent provider or property portal. That site receives request data such as your IP address and browser information, but nib opens the link without sending the nib page as the referrer. The external site applies its own privacy and cookie rules. nib does not control those sites or receive the contact details you submit there.

Google AdSense

The current application includes AdSense account-verification metadata but does not load the AdSense advertising script or display Google-served ads. If AdSense is enabled later, Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies and process IP addresses, web beacons, or similar identifiers to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and—where permitted—personalize advertising.

Your controls

You can block or delete cookies and clear nib’s site data in your browser, change location permission at any time, and use the map without sharing your current position. If an advertising consent message is shown, you can use it to accept, reject, or change the available advertising choices. Blocking cookies or clearing site data may reset the language or theme and may cause the location prompt to appear again.
